Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between kiln dried logs and kindling?
Kindling (our 2-3kg bags) is smaller, precision-cut wood used to get a fire started quickly, while kiln dried logs are larger pieces designed to keep a fire burning steadily once established — most fires benefit from using both together.
Why is kiln dried wood better than regular firewood?
Kiln dried wood has a lower moisture content (less than 20%) compared to seasoned firewood, meaning it catches fire more quickly, burns cleaner with less smoke, and produces more efficient heat output for wood burners, stoves, and open fires.
Are your wood pellets suitable for pizza ovens and BBQs?
Yes, our premium wood pellets are made from pure softwood with no additives, offering high heat output and clean burning suited to pizza ovens, pellet grills, smokers, and BBQs.
What size wood pellet bags do you sell?
Our wood pellets are available in 15kg and 30 litre (approx. 15kg) bag sizes, giving you options depending on how much fuel you need for your outdoor cooking or heating setup.
Can I use these logs and pellets indoors?
Yes, our kiln dried logs and kindling are suitable for indoor use in wood burners, stoves, and fireplaces, while our wood pellets are best suited to outdoor cooking appliances such as pizza ovens, grills, and smokers.
