DO NOT USE IN YOUR IRON!! We purchased this item from Tesco, and immediately after using this in my steam iron, an overpoweringly acrid smell came from the iron, and then resulted initally a grey flaky substance, and then followed by a bright blue liquid spurting out of the iron. Without any exageration, myself and my husband both almost passed out from the acrid smell and had to immedately ventilate and vacate the room!
As a result, we've had to send our £350 Tefal iron off for repair.
At first thinking this was a fault of our iron, we borrowed someone elses iron and immediately the same smell started coming out in the steam. We then noticed that the liquid in the container was sticky and also has a faint chemical smell.
We honestly wonder if this product is de-ionised water or some other checmical that has been labelled up incorrectly.
